Our Vision

GLOBAL CAUSE Foundation is a nonprofit alliance between concerned citizens of China, the United States and other nations. We support the use of science to find economically sensible solutions to the challenge of global warming in developing nations.

We embrace and draw strength from our motto, "One World, One Team". It reflects the importance of working together to save the earth we share. We want this planet to be a beautiful and sustaining home for all of the generations that follow us. We do not want global warming to keep this dream from happening.

We believe that the problem of global warming represents a serious threat to the entire world. People have created this problem by greatly increasing the greenhouse gases in our atmosphere and people working together will be the only way to stop it. Different results require different actions. That will take smarter ideas, more openness to change and a balanced, practical approach.

Every nation understands the need to strengthen its economy. This task is especially important in developing countries like China which must extend the benefits of a growing economy to large numbers of people with significant economic need. Since China represents one fifth of the world's population, finding solutions there will help the entire world address the threat of global warming.

The threat of global warming grows stronger each day. If we wait too long to face it responsibly, our children and grandchildren will suffer terribly. We know we must act now to avoid that result. Developing nations will be a key battleground in this fight. They need strong economic growth, but if they follow the traditional approaches used by industrialized nations before them, the fight will be hard to win.

By getting experts in China and the United States to work together, we can identify and introduce practical new responses to the threat of global warming. Through dialogue, creative interaction, determined effort and the wise use of financial resources from supportive donors, we can help implement new technology and other practical measures that will reduce harmful emissions in an economically beneficial way. Such an approach is possible, but only through teamwork and sustained commitment.

We will need the help of people everywhere to make this effort a success. Please give us your support!
